Through his work scoring films, television, games, and internet media, Adrian L. Hernandez has established himself a distinctive musical voice and collaborator. Adrian's scores include "Ghosts of the West: The End of the Bonanza Trail", directed by Ethan Knightchilde (winner of Best Documentary, Filmed in Utah Awards), "Veil", directed by Paul Busetti (producer, The Maladjusted), and "Simplicity: The Story of Balloon Chain" by Emmy Award-winning editor/producer Jared Morgan.
In 2011, Adrian was invited as a participant in the ASCAP/NYC Film Scoring workshop, receiving mentoring from Sean Callery (from TV show 24), Mark Snow (from TV show The X-Files), and Ira Newborn (from The Naked Gun Series). In 2016, he wond his first Hollywood Music Media Award for his score to "B:52 - Three Generations", directed by Michael Chait.
Born and raised in Dallas, TX, Adrian studied music from the University of Texas at Austin under Kevin Puts, Donald Grantham, and Dan Welcher. Adrian also serves as Chief Arranger for The U.S. Army Field Band. He currently resides in Baltimore, MD, with his wife, Heather, and sons, Michael, Austin, and Camden.
